Listed alphabetically are terms unique to Cloud Store.

 

Cloud Store:

 

Refers to the frontend of your Online Store which is viewable and usable by Customers.

 

Online Store:

 

Refers to the whole configurable components/backend of the Cloud Store which can be accessed from your Reseller Control Panel (RCP).

 

Ordering Wizard:

 

Ordering Wizard is the term used on the ‘Cloud Store’ to describe the sequence of screens that a Customer will have to go through in order to buy a service plan.

On the Online Store the term ‘ordering wizard would be referred to as ‘purchase scenario’.

 

Parameter:

 

Parameters is the smallest configurable component of the Online Store giving you a powerful tool to customize your Cloud Store. There are specific parameters for: screens, purchase scenarios and the Cloud Store generally.

 

Purchase Scenario:


Purchase Scenario is the term used on the ‘Online Store’ to describe the sequence of screens that a Customer will have to go through in order to buy a service plan.

On the Cloud Store the term ‘purchase scenario’ would be referred to as ‘ordering wizard’.

Redirect:

 

Is a configurable method you, the Reseller can use, to pull existing and new Customers to your Cloud Store. 

 

Sales Category:

 

Is a logical grouping of services to make shopping an easier experience for your Customers.

 

Screens:

 

Screens are the configurable component of the Online Store which provide Customers with their step-by-step experience on the Cloud Store. Each step a Customer goes through on the Cloud Store has been configured and setup on Screens on the Online Store.  

 

Word:

 

‘Word’ in your Online Store is a configurable element in your Online Store that can be created and modified and acts as a placeholder for content you want to display on your Cloud Store.
