New MSPs
After ordering licenses from Ingram Micro's marketplace, you must complete the following:
- Accept invitation email to EMA to configure the first user
- Add any additional users that require access to licenses and provide the proper access rights

On-Prem
- If you are using an On-Prem installation of ESET PROTECT, please ensure that the pre-requisites are met
- Then complete one of the following installation steps:
- Next, import the licenses to the ESET PROTECT Server

- After adding the licenses, you can continue with the deployment process by either using the MSP setup option or any of the other deployment options:

- Agent Deployment: https://support.eset.com/en/kb7655-deploy-the-eset-management-agent
- Any additional licenses provisioned will automatically show in the ESET PROTECT Server if the user that imported the licenses has read/write access to the customer in EMA.
- If the licenses are not showing, verify the user used to import the licenses to ESET PROTECT has access to the customer or completes a license synchronization from the license management section.

Cloud
- If you have provisioned a cloud-eligible license, please complete the activation process in the EMA portal
- Log in to EMA2 as a user with Write access (or the initial EMA user that was created during license provisioning)
- Click the activate button on the ESET PROTECT Cloud tile
- If no tile is shown, verify they have a cloud-eligible license: https://help.eset.com/protect_cloud/en-US/cloud_eligible_licenses.html
- Select the data center location and select the I agree to the Agreement check box and click Activate.
- After the activation process is complete login to ESET PROTECT Cloud: https://help.eset.com/ema/2/en-US/access_cloud.html
- If additional users require access to ESET PROTECT Cloud they must first be created in EMA
- Create a new user in EMA: https://help.eset.com/ema/2/en-US/add_user.html
- Add permissions to ESET PROTECT Cloud: https://help.eset.com/ema/2/en-US/cloud_custom_permissions.html
- Add the new user during the MSP customer setup wizard: https://help.eset.com/protect_cloud/en-US/msp_company.html
- New users can also be added or modified in the More > Access Rights > Users menu of ESET PROTECT Cloud: https://help.eset.com/protect_cloud/en-US/msp_users.html
- Next, you can complete the desired deployment process: https://help.eset.com/protect_cloud/en-US/msp_process.html
Existing MSPs
Your account should have already been migrated to the new version of EMA.
- If you place an order for a new license, you will have to verify that existing EMA users have the proper rights to view and access the licenses. If a new user requires access, they will have to be created in the EMA portal by a user with current write access to the MSP and assigned the proper permissions.

- If the licenses are not showing in the ESET PROTECT or older management console it may be required to import the license with a user with proper access rights and/or upgrade to ESET PROTECT
